Loyalty QR codes — email-gated coupon claim pages
This is a claim page with a coupon reveal — not a points program. There are no balances, tiers, stamps or accruals, and nothing is applied at a till automatically.
A reward in exchange for an email
The email field is required here, unlike a review form. That is the whole trade: the customer gets the code, you get a contact who has explicitly consented to hear from you.
The code is revealed after the claim
The coupon never appears on the printed material or the first screen. It is shown only once a valid claim has been stored, so the reward cannot be harvested by anyone who merely photographs the code.
Insert cards and repeat-purchase nudges
Print it on a thank-you card in the parcel, the back of a receipt, or a loyalty card handed over at the counter — anywhere you want a second purchase to start with a reason to come back.
Name the program and the reward
Set a program name and a reward label per code, so the claim page reads like your offer — "10% off your next order" — instead of a generic form with a code at the end.
Bots get nothing
A hidden honeypot field catches automated submissions. Those get the ordinary thank-you page and never the coupon code, and no contact record is written for them.
Not a points program — and the code is yours
Honest scope: QRCode Suite reveals a code you supply. It does not create discounts, validate them, track balances or apply anything at checkout or at a till — redemption happens in whatever system issued the code.
How it works
- 1
Create a Loyalty Reward code
Add a QR code in the dashboard and pick the Loyalty Reward type. Enter the program name, the reward label the customer reads, and the coupon code to reveal after the claim.
- 2
Create the coupon where it will be redeemed
The code you enter is text that gets revealed — it is not created here. Set the real discount up in your store, till system or booking tool first, then paste that code into the QR.
- 3
Print it on the customer-facing material
Export a print-ready PNG or SVG for insert cards, receipts, loyalty cards, packaging or a counter sign. The claim page is served from the code's own address.
- 4
The customer claims with an email
One scan opens the claim page. Email and consent are required; on submit the claim is recorded and the coupon code appears on the confirmation screen in a reveal card.
- 5
Claims collect in the Leads inbox
Each claim is stored with its email, consent flag and timestamp, attributed to the code that produced it. Filter by code and export to CSV for your email tool — with consent on the record.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to connect a store to use these QR codes?
No. Review, wholesale inquiry and loyalty codes serve a page hosted by QRCode Suite at the code’s own address. There is no store to connect, no plugin to install and no CRM to wire up — which is what lets you print one on a carton or a receipt for a channel you do not control.
Where do the responses go?
Into the Leads inbox in your dashboard. Every submission is timestamped and attributed to the QR code that produced it, so you can filter by code and tell a trade-show scan from a packaging scan. The inbox exports to CSV.
Which plan includes them?
The Business plan. Review Collection, Wholesale Inquiry and Loyalty Reward are Business-tier QR types; the free plan covers dynamic URL codes and a Link Hub.
Can I change the form after the code is printed?
Yes. These are dynamic codes: the printed image points at a redirect you control, so you can reword the prompt, rename the product or reward, or switch the extra fields on and off without reprinting anything.
Is the email address always required?
It depends on the flow. On a review form the email is optional, because a rating and a comment are useful on their own. On a wholesale inquiry and on a loyalty claim it is required — the first needs a reply address, the second trades the reward for a contact.
How is consent handled?
Every hosted form carries an explicit consent checkbox stating that the details are stored so you can get back in touch, and the consent flag is saved with the submission. Scans are recorded with hashed IPs rather than raw addresses, on EU infrastructure.
