QR code for Shopify
The Shopify connector is early access, waitlist only — but dynamic QR codes already work with your storefront.
Early access — waitlist only
The Shopify app is not on the Shopify App Store yet and cannot be installed today. Ask for early access and we will contact you when your store can be onboarded.
Built on the QRCode Suite platform
QR codes, the redirect engine, and scan analytics live on the QRCode Suite platform. The Shopify app is being built as a connector into that platform — the same way the WordPress plugin already works.
Works with your storefront today
You do not have to wait for the app. Create dynamic QR codes on the platform now and point them at any product, collection, or landing page URL on your Shopify storefront — the destination stays editable after print.
Hosted Link Hubs and lead forms
Link Hub pages and hosted lead-capture forms are served by QRCode Suite and work alongside any storefront — no app install and no theme edits required.
Bulk generation from a CSV
Generate one QR per product or variant by importing a CSV of destination URLs exported from your store. Bulk generation is available from the Business plan.
Planned: order attribution
The connector is designed to sync completed Shopify orders back to the scan that started the session, mirroring the WooCommerce connector. Treat this as planned, not shipped.
Frequently asked questions
Is QRCode Suite available for Shopify?
The Shopify app is built and in private beta, but it is not yet listed on the Shopify App Store. We are onboarding merchants in batches — request early access and tell us about your store. The WordPress plugin is generally available today.
Can I change where a Shopify QR code points after printing it?
Yes. Codes encode a redirect you control rather than the destination itself, so you can re-point a code that is already on packaging, a card or a shelf label without generating or reprinting anything.
Does it track scans and tie them back to orders?
Yes. Scans are recorded with bot filtering, approximate location and device, and paid-order webhooks attribute revenue back to the code that produced it. You also get a conversion funnel, cohort and lifetime-value views, channel attribution against ads, email, organic and social, and A/B tests with significance.
Can I show a QR code on my Shopify product pages?
Yes. A theme app extension adds a QR block to the product page that renders that product’s code from your theme. Size, corner radius, alignment and label text are block settings.
Does it work with Shopify POS?
No. There is no Shopify POS integration — the app is embedded in the Shopify admin and on your storefront, not in the POS app.
Can it create discount codes automatically?
No. You supply a discount code that already exists in your Shopify admin, and the QR code opens the discount link so it applies at checkout. The app does not create or manage discounts for you.
