QR Code Analytics for WordPress

QRCode Suite records every scan in its own first-party database, scoped to your workspace — never sold, never shared with an ad network, never enriched by a third-party tracker. Device, location, referrer and UTM data are all captured, bot scans are filtered out of your counts, and IP addresses go through a keyed HMAC-SHA-256 hash before storage, so no raw IP is ever written. Nothing reaches GA4 or Meta unless you connect that integration yourself. The WordPress plugin is an optional connector that syncs your codes, scans and WooCommerce conversions into the same dashboard.

Free includes 30-day analytics retention. Pro extends it to 12 months.

First-party scan tracking

Track scan count, unique scanners, device type, OS, browser, country, city, referrer, and UTM parameters. Your scan data stays first-party: never sold, never shared with an ad network, never enriched by a third-party tracker.

Bot detection and filtering

QRCode Suite automatically filters 25+ known crawler and bot user-agent patterns before recording events. Analytics reflect real human scans, not automated traffic.

Keyed IP hashing for GDPR data minimisation

IP addresses go through an HMAC-SHA-256 hash keyed by a deployment secret, and only the truncated digest is written. Raw IPs are never stored. Unique scanner counting works without raw IP storage.

UTM parameter tracking

Append UTM parameters to your QR destinations. Track campaign, source, medium, content, and term in your analytics dashboard — or pass through to Google Analytics 4.

GA4 and Meta Pixel integration

Send scan events to Google Analytics 4 as custom events and fire Meta Pixel on scan. Both are opt-in and available from Pro — nothing is forwarded until you connect them yourself.

Automatic, plan-based retention

Analytics retention is set by your plan and enforced automatically: 30 days on Free, 12 months on Pro, 24 months on Business, 36 months on Agency. A background worker purges scan events once the window elapses — nothing to configure, nothing to remember.

WooCommerce revenue attribution

The WordPress connector syncs completed WooCommerce orders back to the scan that started the session. See revenue, average order value, and conversion rate attributed to each QR code and campaign. Available from Pro.

Export to CSV, XLSX, PDF

Download scan reports as CSV from Pro. XLSX exports and client-ready branded PDF reports are available from Business.

Frequently asked questions

What analytics does QRCode Suite track?

QRCode Suite tracks scan count, unique scanners, device type, operating system, browser, country, city, referrer, and UTM parameters. Bot traffic is detected and excluded, and IP addresses are hashed before any event is written.

How long is analytics data retained?

Retention is set by your plan and enforced automatically: 30 days on Free, 12 months on Pro, 24 months on Business, and 36 months on Agency. Events older than the window are purged.

Does QRCode Suite integrate with Google Analytics?

Yes. GA4 integration is available on Pro and above. QR code scans are sent as GA4 events, enabling full funnel tracking from scan to conversion.

Does QRCode Suite support Meta Pixel?

Yes. Meta Pixel events are fired on scan for Pro and above plans, enabling retargeting audiences based on QR code interactions.

Where is my scan data stored?

Scan events are stored in QRCode Suite's own database, where they stay first-party: we never sell them, never share them with an ad network, and never enrich them with a third-party tracker. Nothing is forwarded to GA4, Meta Pixel or any other external platform unless you connect that integration yourself.
