QR Code Integrations

Scan data is only useful where the rest of your reporting lives, so QRCode Suite is built to hand events onward on your terms. Connect Google Analytics 4 or Meta Pixel and scans are forwarded as events for funnel and audience work. Connect Slack or Discord and a channel gets notified as codes are scanned or convert. Register a webhook endpoint and you receive the raw events, HMAC-signed, retried on a fixed backoff and dead-lettered rather than dropped. The REST API reads the same codes, scans and conversions on your own schedule. The default matters as much as the list: nothing is forwarded anywhere until you connect that destination yourself, credentials are stored AES-256-GCM encrypted, and traffic identified as a bot is never fanned out at all.

GA4 and Meta Pixel start at Pro. Slack, Discord, custom webhooks and the REST API are part of the Business plan.

Google Analytics 4

Forward scans to GA4 as custom events so QR traffic joins the same funnel as everything else you measure. Available from Pro, and inactive until you supply your own measurement credentials.

Meta Pixel

Fire a Meta Pixel event on scan to build audiences from people who interacted with a printed code. Also from Pro, also opt-in — no pixel is loaded and no event is sent before you connect it.

Slack and Discord

Post scan and conversion notifications into a channel so a campaign going live, or a code suddenly getting traffic, is visible without anyone opening a dashboard. Both are part of the Business plan.

Signed webhooks

Register endpoints for qr.scanned, qr.converted, qr.lead_captured and linkhub.submitted. Deliveries are HMAC-signed, retried on a 1m / 5m / 30m / 2h backoff, and dead-lettered after five attempts rather than silently dropped.

REST API with scoped keys

Read and write QR codes, and read scans and conversions, over a Bearer-authenticated API. Keys are stored only as a hash with a display prefix, carry explicit scopes, and record when they were last used.

WordPress connector

The plugin links a site to a workspace and syncs codes, scan metrics and WooCommerce conversions into the same analytics, so orders can be attributed back to the scan that started the session.

Conversion pixel

A lightweight collect endpoint accepts conversion events from any stack. It answers fast, caps the body, drops malformed payloads without complaining, and reveals nothing about which codes or workspaces exist.

Credentials encrypted, bots excluded

Integration secrets are stored AES-256-GCM encrypted rather than in plain text. Scans matched against known crawler and link-preview patterns are flagged and never forwarded to any connected destination.

Frequently asked questions

What analytics does QRCode Suite track?

QRCode Suite tracks scan count, unique scanners, device type, operating system, browser, country, city, referrer, and UTM parameters. Bot traffic is detected and excluded, and IP addresses are hashed before any event is written.

How long is analytics data retained?

Retention is set by your plan and enforced automatically: 30 days on Free, 12 months on Pro, 24 months on Business, and 36 months on Agency. Events older than the window are purged.

Does QRCode Suite integrate with Google Analytics?

Yes. GA4 integration is available on Pro and above. QR code scans are sent as GA4 events, enabling full funnel tracking from scan to conversion.

Does QRCode Suite support Meta Pixel?

Yes. Meta Pixel events are fired on scan for Pro and above plans, enabling retargeting audiences based on QR code interactions.

Where is my scan data stored?

Scan events are stored in QRCode Suite's own database, where they stay first-party: we never sell them, never share them with an ad network, and never enrich them with a third-party tracker. Nothing is forwarded to GA4, Meta Pixel or any other external platform unless you connect that integration yourself.
